Hey! Forgive this absurdly late reply; I got this sketchbook at my local art store and than they very quickly stopped carrying it. I remember seeing them at art stores in Manhattan with a hefty price tag, but the manufacturer's name escapes me. Sorry! This may be of no help whatsoever but I got into the habit of buying heavy duty moleskines or watercolor sketchbooks and toning the paper myself in watercolor. If you find one let me know!!
Do you remember where you got your sketchbook from? The largest size I could find of this type of brown recycled paper was I think the Catchet brand at Utrecht.com. What mediums do you like to use?
I've been looking for a toned sketchbook like this and can't find them anywhere?
Can you tell me where you found this?
I've looking online, bookstores, local art supply stores, nothing...it was driving me crazy trying to find one....
...still is as a matter of fact!
Nice work!
If you find one let me know!!
...oh and it is "80" sheets, not 60!
Earthbound sketchbooks is the name to google.
I actually did find one. Made by "Daler-Rowney"
Recycled paper, light/medium brown.
7x10" spiral cost $19.95 for 60 sheets!!! WTF? The next size up, which was perfect bound was $22.95.
Found them at Orlando, Sam-Flax!
Also they had the names, Earthbound and Cachet on them...frigging "green" product with a HIGH price? Go figure?
Anyway...I'll try it out soon. But the price need to be about HALF, I'd say.
watercolor sketchbooks. Some of these art supplies
dealers are out of their minds!
